This sewing guide utilizes high strength magnets and special pads that keep the guide firmly in place even when sewing with heavy materials. The Deluxe Magnetic Sewing Guide features an extended length of 5.5 inches to ensure accurate stitch placement in hems and general seam construction. The accuracy of this Extended Length Magnetic Sewing Guide is so consistent that it can be used to replicate the stitching of a double needle sewing machine when using machines like the Ultrafeed LSZ-1 that have a single needle and needle offset lever.
Thread spacing can be easily adjusted on any machine by moving the edge guide closer to or away from the foot. For applications where a short guide is required, turn it sideways. Even with the aggressive holding power of the magnets, the seam guide can be easily removed by pivoting upward along the side with the finger cutout.
