4-Point Stitch (3-Step Stitch): Instead of a standard 2-point zigzag stitch this Sailrite Professional Long Arm Sewing Machine is fitted with a cam making the zigzag a 4-point stitch. This is useful for spinnakers and one design sailmaking where it is desirable to reduce production time by stitching each seam only once.

Well here it is — the Sailrite Professional engineered from the ground up as a machine for canvas and sail production work. It will do everything needed and it will do it with greater consistency and ease than you ever imagined.

The Professional is a full size 20.5" long arm, rotary machine that features a powered "Walking Foot" similar to the Ultrafeed’s but with a large hook and bobbin mechanism to reduce the frequency of bobbin winding and allow for the use of very heavy thread. It sews a 5mm long straight stitch and a 10 mm wide zigzag stitch. Maximum sewing speed is 1550 stitches per minute with the included MC-SCR motor and controller (The Professional head is rated to handle up to 2500 spm - running the machine slowly increases reliability). It has reversing capability.

Use the Professional for heavy materials and thick fabric assemblies as well as light to medium work. It is an excellent choice for everything from spinnakers to 10oz storm sails. We guarantee that this machine will outperform anything in its class.

Commercial Stand Table This is the traditional way a commercial sewing machine is used. It provides a very solid sewing platform on which to work. The table surface is 24" deep by 59.25" wide. Leg height is adjustable. The cutout for the machine head is 7 1/8" by 29"

This package includes the MC-SCR Power system^™A "motor control / silicon controlled rectifier". This solid state controller with 120 volt DC motor (1/3rd HP, 3100 RPM) is compact, powerful and offers much greater slow speed power and control than the Clutch Motor described above. Top speed is 1550 stitches per minute. Speed is controlled with a high quality potentiometer foot pedal. Power is consistently strong—from start up to top speed.

Order the "Presser Foot Lifting Treadle" for an easy and quick way to lift the machine's presser foot. This kit eliminates the need to reach behind the machine head and use the hand lever or to use the cumbersome knee lift linkage that comes standard with a Professional machine.
