The Sailrite 111 Sewing Machine is a Straight Stitch Commercial Sewing Machine Complete in the Porta-Base with the MC-SCR Power System
This is a full size straight stitch commercial machine that features a walking foot and needle feed (the needle penetrates the fabric and then moves back with the material). Sews up to 1550 stitches per minute with the included MC-SCR motor and controller (The Sailrite 111 head is rated to handle up to 3000 spm - running the machine slowly increases reliability), with reversing capability and auto lubrication with oil pump and pan under head. A large rotary hook reduces frequency of bobbin winding and large underarm space (10.25" x 5") eases production.

Even though this is a heavy package, the Porta-Base makes it portable. Anodized aluminum construction makes the Porta-Base light in weight and non-corrosive. The base cutout is 7 1/8" deep by 18 7/8" (a proper fit for the Sailrite 111). A mounting bracket for the industrial bobbin winder that comes with the machine is included.

Motor control / silicon controlled rectifier. This solid state controller with 120 volt DC motor (1/3rd HP, 3100 RPM) is compact, powerful and offers much greater slow speed power and control than a Clutch Motor. Top speed is 1550 stitches per minute. Speed is controlled with a high quality potentiometer foot pedal. Power is consistently strong—from start up to top speed.
Sailrite’s DVD for the Sailrite 111 makes sewing machine setup and use easy. Every aspect of assembly and machine adjustment (including timing) is fully described and shown in high quality video. The Sailrite 111 is available with several motor and table stand configurations. Each setup is shown on this DVD and those sections that do not apply to your machine can be skipped easily using convenient navigation menus.
Sailrite recommends the PowerPlus Wheel for the MC-SCR Power System (#100847) as an upgrade to the Sailrite 111.
