She was MANUFACTURED IN ELIZABETH PORT, NEW JERSEY, U.S.A. in 1961 ~ Serial # NC310052 and she has an METAL BODY WITH METAL GEARS! This BEAUTY is QUALITY BUILT and weighs 23 pounds.

THERE ARE 28 BUILT-IN STITCHES: Use the Selector Knob to choose your desired stitch. You can also purchase additional disk on eBay to do additional decorative stitching. This model Singer is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for sewing awnings, tents, tarps, belts, making and repairing jeans, heavy clothing, sunbrella, canvas, naugahyde, vinyl, sewing all types of upholstery, recovering furniture, making purses, handbags, seat belts, backpacks, canvas banners, sewing strapping/webbing, sewing patches on leather jackets, sewing lightweight fabric, such as silk, etc.
